CN ED 280: Job/Internship Search and Professional Skills (1 credit) - This course will teach students how to implement a career strategy to effectively secure a job/internship. It is appropriate for students at all academic levels who are focused on a major and preparing for an internship or job search. This course is open to all students who are focused on a major,* and highly recommended for IST, Corporate Communications and Multidisciplinary Engineering Design majors since these majors have a required internship.
*HDFS and Brandywine Business majors have a similar required Intern Preparation course:
BA 420: Preparation for Career Management (1 credit) - for Brandywine Business majors, typically taken senior year.
HDFS 490: Introduction to Internship Experience (2 credit) - for HDFS majors, taken senior year.
*Students with a Smeal Business major goal are encouraged to register for this online Intern Preparation course:
BA 297: Career Planning Strategies (1 credit) - for Business majors transferring to University Park, typically sophomore year (also open to first year students).
